Tom Brown & Company, Inc., (Brown & Company) is an independent property and casualty agency specializing in commercial insurance and surety bonds. The agency has been serving the Washington, DC metropolitan area for over 40 years. Our agency was founded in 1983 by the late Thomas E. Brown Sr., an architect/engineer turned agent.

We represent and have access to numerous insurance and surety companies. As an independent agency, we are not limited to just one carrier. Our independence allows us flexibility to secure the best possible bond and insurance program options to meet our clients’ specific needs and exposures.
